The Circle of Life

The fact that I'm finding it challenging to learn how to simply be part of a blog reminds me that age is catching up. Even as i'm writing this, i'm only half-sure that i have successfully 'created a post', so to speak. Hopefully we are all getting wiser, if we needs to be getting older. But indeed, knowing that some of us are becoming fathers and mothers one by one, to one, two or even three offsprings is uplifting and awakening at the same time. The evening after WK's passing, a few of us hustled around a table at a Serangoon Gardens Carpi Diem....er, i mean kopitiam, and news of a handful pregnancies were exchanged. And Guochuan exclaimed, "sigh....the circle of life!".

Only the next day did i realised the full meaning of that statement when i found out his imminent fatherhood.....as well as Zhixiong's also very imminent 2nd fatherhood. That's when i wondered "hmmm, who else among you people are also stocking up diapers and milk bottles?"
Now that this blog is set up and since we're on the topic of kids, maybe it's time to update everyone how are we doing in the parenthood department. As a start, i'll just throw in the latest joke that Kiwi, Peishun and I will be having kids who may eventually become classmates in Hwa Chong Institute (born in April, May and June 2007 respectively)!

Do they also accept girls now?

Yes! How did you guess? But seriously, i wasn't trying to put words into KC's mouth. I just don't have the necessary IT dexterity to identify myself on a blog....sigh. Can you help?

have resent the invite to both of you. click on the link, use your gmail account to login and you should be able to see your email address, a new post tag and a sign-out tag somewhere at the top right corner when you navigate to http://18thsc.blogspot.com

to check the settings for your account, go to your own dashboard at http://beta.blogger.com/home and you can see kopitiam as one of the blog site you can post. you will also be able to create more blogs here that belongs to you.

Sorry brother, i still find all th ese very russian-sounding to me. So do i log in using the "in memory of waikeong' pass word or create a gmail acct and use the new password we create?
I also tried to go to the link you sent to my email acct but can't seem to create an acct.
Is there a simpler way to do this for an IT idiot like me?

heh, if still tak-boleh, can msn me at eiklin~[AT]~hotmail.com using live/msn messenger. you will need to download and install live messenger from here.

but then, dun use stupid accounts like britneyspears@hotmail.com to msn me, ok? i confirm block.

though this blogsite is not too intuitive for new users, it is feature rich, free-of-charge, and has delegation features to allow others to contribute postings. so must say KC has made a good choice in terms of the long-term benefits. others like msn spaces may be easier to use initially but will limit the possibility of multi-user contribution in the long run.

mayling is smart:she used the in_memory_of_wk@yahoo.com.sg to sign in, and then invited herself to join the group. talking abt unlocking the door from inside.

but i quite worry about our own future....let's hope we won't become dinosaurs come 2046.

ok so we have a master-of-back-doors, oops master-of-inside-doors in here..

by the way i have set the blogsite to pop-up the comments in a seperate window.. easier to navigate, i hope.

when the time is ripe will KC pls reset the password for in_memory_of_wk? think its going to be a matter of time before the password is being guessed correctly by other cyberist and erase all posts..

the deleted comment above this one was my mischief. i sincerely apologise for the misact and pls do not start to think what i have wrote. pls also do not ask as i will also not tell, ha.

by the way, 2046 was lousy. i struggled through it, basically. tony leung can do less wonders without the late leslie cheung.
